Both Flying Pie Pizzaria locations were closed Tuesday, January 13th through Monday, January 19th of 2009. We re-opened Tuesday, January 20th at 11:00 AM (and a new president took the oath of office the same day!)

We appreciate the enthusiasm and encouragement from our customers and we hope you’ll continue to cheer us on in celebrating this amazing thing we got to do. We’ll see you January 20th!

Nikki: Everyone who got their passport on time!
Customer: How did you get to do that?
Nikki: It was paid for from our tips and maybe a little from our future tips!
Customer: What a great way to get to spend your money. Have fun!

Customer: You guys get to go to Costa Rica?! Who told you that you could do that?
Matt: Actually, in a round about way, you guys did. And we appreciate it! We have been saving up the tip money.
Customer: Well, we’re glad to help. You guys certainly deserve it!

A dine-in customer and I chatted about Costa Rica and he was in awe: “Seriously, all of you? That in itself is pretty amazing but the fact that you all love each other enough to work and vacation together is incredible!”
Jaime: “I never thought of it like that! But yes, we’re special because we care about each other!”
Him: “You can tell – in the atmosphere and the food.”

Carolyn (Qwest Sales representative), after I told her why we need to alter our voicemail in January: “Oh, wow! That is so cool! I’m glad that there’s companies out there that still do this kind of thing.”
Lesley: “Yes, thank you – me too!”

Marshall: Pretty much all of the crews from both stores! And it’s all thanks to folks like you that we can do this amazing thing!
Sue: Well that was my plan all along! Ha, ha!
